The Black Swan

Nothing has changed yet all her hope is gone
In search for light, a star to guide her way
The pitch-black night shelters the wounded swan
In vain, she fights her bodily decay

The sea of dark despair will devour all
In raging waves of helplessness she’ll drown
Alone, at night in waves as houses tall
She’ll leave this world with no one else around

Our dying swan can taste her seeping blood
Her destiny set long before today
A tiny drop of blood on flowering bud
In vain, she fought her bodily decay

A dying swan, her life now in the past
Once gone, no memory of her will last
